Can you imagine what it must be like for most people (and even some household pets) to tower above you?
Add to that a toddler’s limitless imagination—unencumbered by years of practical knowledge and assumptions—and they practically live in a whole other world than our own.
One of the kids’ book I’m working on explores this perspective, so I’ve been keeping my eye out for glimpses of that child’s-eye view.
Turns out I’m not the only one interested in the perspective of the lower half.
On NBC’s TODAY show this week, one of their “hot new tech” picks was the GoPro Junior Chesty, a camera that straps to a toddler’s chest and records what they see.
What do you think it would catch while tagging along with your favorite tot?
When my four-year-old pointed these sliding metal animals on the fencing at the zoo last week—a zoo I’d been to dozens and dozens of times before—it made me wonder:
What else am I missing down there?
Let’s keep an eye out, shall we? If you find some fun child’s-eye view surprises, please post them in the comments below. Or better yet, snap a photo and tag me on Instagram, Facebook, Google+, or Twitter with #denimjungle.
Happy hunting!
